Helping Your Child Train Safely & Effectively
Parents want the best for their children, especially when it comes to health and fitness. Many worry about injuries from improper weight training, lack of supervision, or simply not knowing where to start. At The Lab, we recognize that strength training is essential for both athletic performance and overall health. However, without proper education, young athletes may develop bad habits that lead to injury or setbacks.
This Spring Break, we are offering a specialized Youth Strength & Mobility Workshop to teach kids proper movement mechanics, core stability, and safe strength training techniques. Our focus is on:
Mobility & Flexibility – Teaching the importance of range of motion before adding weight
Proper Exercise Form – Breaking down key movements to avoid injuries
Mind-Muscle Connection – Helping kids develop better coordination as they grow
Smart Progression – Understanding how to safely increase resistance
Led by experienced coaches who have worked with professional and collegiate athletes, this workshop will give your child the foundation they need to train safely, efficiently, and confidently—whether they’re in sports or just starting their fitness journey.
