This Spring Break, set your young athlete up for success with our Youth Strength & Mobility Workshop! Each day, our experienced coaches will lead specialized sessions focusing on smart training techniques that build strength, prevent injury, and improve overall athletic performance.
Mobility & Flexibility – Unlocking Strength Through Movement
Strength without mobility leads to stiffness and injury. On Monday, we focus on the importance of mobility and flexibility as the foundation for safe strength training. Athletes will learn dynamic and static stretching techniques, foam rolling, and recovery methods to enhance their range of motion and improve overall performance. This session ensures that young athletes move better, feel better, and reduce their risk of injury both on and off the field.
Core & Balance Training – Strength Starts with Stability
A strong core is more than just abs—it’s the center of power, balance, and stability for every athlete. Tuesday’s session will introduce athletes to exercises that improve core strength, enhance balance, and build coordination. From planks and stability drills to sport-specific balance exercises, this day will help athletes develop the foundational strength needed for explosive movements and injury prevention.
Mastering Movement & Smart Progression – Training with Purpose
On Wednesday, we dive into the building blocks of safe and effective strength training. Athletes will learn proper form and technique for key exercises like squats, lunges, presses, and deadlifts. Our coaches will teach smart progression strategies, showing young athletes how to gradually increase resistance without risking injury. This dual-focus day will empower athletes with the knowledge to train safely and see lasting results.
Building Endurance – Train Harder, Last Longer
Endurance is the secret weapon of every successful athlete. Thursday’s workshop will focus on building muscular and cardiovascular endurance through a variety of fun, challenging workouts. Athletes will learn how to maintain performance under fatigue, recover quickly, and push their limits safely. This day is perfect for athletes preparing for long games, matches, or seasons where stamina and mental toughness are key.
Speed, Power & Explosiveness – Plyometric Training for Athletes
Friday’s workshop wraps up the week with an explosive session on speed, power, and agility. Athletes will learn plyometric exercises designed to increase jump height, sprint speed, and overall quickness. Our expert coaches will teach techniques to improve reaction time, reduce injury risk, and build confidence in fast-paced sports scenarios. This session will have athletes jumping higher, running faster, and moving with purpose!
