YOUTH DANCE PROGRAM

Introducing your kids to a dance program can help them in many ways. Dance improves flexibility, coordination, balance, range of motion, stamina, muscle tone, strength and posture, to name a few! At a dance class, children learn mainly through physical and sensory experiences. For children, verbal language and movement are intertwined. This type of learning helps young children develop knowledge, skill and understanding about the world. Children strengthen their cognitive abilities and memory skills through learning the choreography in class! Many benefits can be taken away from a dance program. Here at The LAB, our dance program offers all of these and much more. We offer a space for your children to express their personality, create art and gain confidence!

Tricks & Technique
Wednesdays 6-7pm

This is the best place to start if you’re new to dance or need to go back to the basics. This class includes detailed instruction and a proper breakdown of technique for jumps, turns, kicks and more! Our goal is to help you understand not only the “hows” but the “whys” of correct form. With practice and focus on proper placement, this class will serve as a foundation for more complex skills and help build a stronger physical base.
